If youre going to be messing about with the engine, i wouldnt bother, there aint enough space and even the easiest of jobs just becomes annoying.. or maybe im just crap lol.
If you fancy some other alloys, just make sure you keep the originals... you can just stick them back on the car then. I think most people would prefer standard when buying.
Its annoying when you have a list of stuff you want to get sorted on your car. Every few weeks something else will be added to it, meaning your car just becomes a bottomless pit for money/time!
Speaking from experience that is.
Mine was a G reg 1.1lx fiesta, which cost me £100, about four years ago. It was rusting to pieces, and had 160,000 miles on the clock! Nevertheless it somehow lasted me a year with no problems, where i put another 10k on it. After this, it was practically falling apart so i sold it to some guy...
I got caught doing 42 in a 30.. 3 points and £60 fine.
My mate got caught doing 88 in a 50.. and what did he get, a 14 DAY BAN and a £190 fine. No justice i tells ya, id of taken what he got over my points.
There are plenty of RSi owners on the forum :)
Heres mine:

Tip a bucket of water onto the roof. Take it for a test drive. If you dont get soaked when going round corners, youve probably found the only mk1 clio not to have a sunroof leak!
I got an RSi at the moment, they are the warm hatch mk1 clio. They look exactly like an RT, except for a small spoiler and some side-skirts. Watch out for all the problems mentioned above - For 700 i doubt the car is gonna be a minter, but still look out as major engine work (clutch, etc) can...
Mods wont affect the price much..
Things like service history, length of MOT, etc will be the deciding factor.. Id probably say in the region of 1kish. If its mint though you could probably get a lot more.
I was on my old mans policy for 2 years on a 1.1 fiesta, followed by a diesel clio. When i finally bought my own insurance, i was 21 and it cost me £900 tpft. Thats on a clio Rsi.
I think itd be a good idea if you typed properly. Not being nasty or whatever, but people on here get annoyed if you type "dis" dat" "day" etc.
As for pass plus, yeah go for it, makes all the difference when youre young and just passed. Can knock 30% off, which when paying 1k, is around 300 quid.
It should take two pictures as far as i remember, so if it did and both pictures show you in the same place, then they might just bin it. Did it flash twice?
I think i have come to think of it. No sticker though? or am i just blind.
You go to the uni?
If you see me, dont laugh at the naples car with black wings

I got those wheels on my clio too :) appearing more and more since motorworld did an offer on them sadly.
Was a b**ch getting them to fit my Rsi. Sorted now though with the help of some 16v front wings!
