No major updates to this, finally sorted the electrical issue with a uch/ECU/key swap so there's now no faults electrically or mechanically with it now. Have just taken delivery of a new golf GTi just weighing up keeping it or selling either way updates soon ?

Having an intermittent issue with flicking headlights so it's looking like I need to swap out the UCH and ECU from another car. I have tried all the other options I have ordered one from eBay but the exact part number is different mine is v5.5 P8200387290 The one I've ordered is v5.3...

Will remove relays individually tomorrow and refit and will see what's what, what's a uch going to set me back if that is the case ?

Well headlight is working, what a pita, alarm was just me being a fanny completely forgot it was knew when the bonnet was open, can heat the relay pop when driving along and windows and indicators stop at that point but didn't think they ran through the same one ?

Now when the car locks itself it plays a constant tone ?

Was driving along and all of a sudden windows won't go down but also indicators aren't working funilly enough o/s headlight has stopped working too, any thoughts ?

Yeah my s6 has some faint scratches but they piss all over apple etc for holding up to abuse.

Aha too right, Goodyear ultra grips but now the temp is up they are scrubbing about like mad, should be called ultra slips so will be buying two new ad08r for the front to replace the mismatched tyres it was wearing when I got it
