ECU UCH Swap

Having an intermittent issue with flicking headlights so it's looking like I need to swap out the UCH and ECU from another car.

I have tried all the other options

I have ordered one from eBay but the exact part number is different mine is v5.5 P8200387290

The one I've ordered is v5.3 P8200387290

Before I rip everything out will this be alright ?

Don't particularly want to make double work for myself any help is greatly appreciated

When you say flickering, do you mean just a slight flicker or an on and off sort of flicker?

I have xenon's but it's also affecting the wipers etc

What model do you have 172/182? So long as the ECU/UCH has came from the same vehicle ie 172 Cup -172 Cup, 172 Sport - 172 Sport it should be fine.

I have never made much sense of the numbers. I think v5.5 is just a later version. Is there a date on the label. One you have purchased may just be from a later car than yours.

It has just said from a 182 so hopefully should be fine then @Mbeau

Matched ecu/uch & key ? If so it should be fine just bosh it in. If needs be reconfig the settings on the the uch with clip to remove warning lights etc.
