Hey everyone..
I recently hit a put hole really hard with my clio 182.. and then joined the motorway taking the car up to 60mph.. at which point the wheel started shaking like crazy...
so ii took it in for a full service at HiQ - and they checked everything over and all joints bushes, tracking...
I've had this high to low pitch whistling noise when driving at 30mph and when ever i am coming to a stop... starting to annoy me now.
Recently the timing belt snapped.. so the garage rebuild it back with new valves, timing belt, cam seals, etc as well as replacing the cam belt and tensioner...
I average about 35mpg, and my trips are on average.. 38miles a day plus the odd mile here and that, I achieve this by driving 30/40 & 50 on motorways plus, chaging gears every 2000 revs... & braking from a distant so its not harsh.. and 55 quid full tank of fuel last me 7 days, soo its okay...
I have a clio 182, which is lowered by APEX springs n coil-overs, respectively the ride is horrendous, its so bumpy and annoying.
so i was wondering what is the best way of going to get the best possible or nearest to a decent ride, I want to eliminate the bumpy ride as much as ii can.
any...
Just wondering, if it is just my car or is all clio 182 very bumpy when driving?
or is something in my car lost some absorbing power... far as I am aware.. the bushes have gone? a mate told me that may be the problem...
any ideas/suggestions of how to get rid of the bumpy annoying harsh ride..
- Okay, ii took the battery out, left it on charge... then reconnected it... and it didnt turn over... soo i hit it with a JUMP start and now it works... soo for the time being im just starting the car up every day too see if it styll has charge... if not im going to just go back to euro part...
- You see edde, what I find hard to understand is that the battery is brand new, so it shouldn't be dead.... but tommorow I will remove it and stick it on charge... and also.. check all the fuses.. too see if there is any blown..
P.s would like to thank everyone for responding, ii was soo close...
I've tried to jump start it today no luck,
one question - is the alarm/immobiliser supposed to turn off, if the battery is dead? or is it supposed to work, even if battery is dead? becuase the FOBS don't seem to be working and there is no Immobiliser light what so ever inside the car...
Okay.. where do I start, I been through every single thred on here sadly, no one has had my problem(s) seems like everything on this forum hit me at one time.. LOL..
I left my Clio182 (2004) for the last two weeks parked up..(ii know very bad thing to do) never the less, I started it one day...
