i had one on my 1.2 and it didnt sound too good but that was obviously only a 1.2!? my mate got a bmc on his mk1 172 and it sounds the muts nuts!there about the same price i think?maybe the bmc is cheaper??

hi people, as topic says, im thinking about rebuilding jus the top end at the mo, jus replacing head, followers and pulleys belts ect..also some re-profiled cams and with a bit of headwork. polishing and porting.... im supllyin the bits to a mechanic i know and hes gonna do the work for 250 quid...

cheers it has been like it since ive had it, only had the wheels on for bout three days. i defo gonna change the belt anyway jus it in a b*****d position to get to!! so you recon take out airbox an put in a standard one (with no holes) or get induction coz every1 on here says iks also reduce...

jus bought a phase1 valver had it bout three weeks. bloke i bought it from had to replace the alternator/fanbelt but fitted wrong one??? it is to thin i have got the right one cant be arsed to replace it yet gonna do it next week! would havin a thinner fanbelt affect perfomance ie power loss or...

damn ill save up again and buy the proper one then.

i got 18s on had it lowered 60mm on pis and it fine. havent touched arches at all. only rubs on full lock bit very minimal. and can get three fat mates in the back and not rub!! :confused:

Personally id go for a Ktec one coz my mate got one on his clio an it sounds LOUD!!

Yeah i got eighteens and lowered it 6o mm on Pi Springs, it looks the b*ll*x! I aint even touched the arches and it dont rub i can get three in back and not a scrape!! It only rubs on full lock?/ and yeah it REALLY REALLY SLOW!!:@
