+1 for TwoTechs, seriously nice guys and know what they're up to.
There's also Ren7Oaks (in Sevenoaks surprisingly), they're ok but nowhere near as nice guys as TwoTechs in Dartford.
My standard exhaust lasted until I sold the car 4 weeks ago. 11 years and 86,000 miles, not too shabby reading about some of the experiences with them on here!
As others have said, it's pretty quiet, with just a slight rasp when you're giving it some or blipping. I liked it.
Just my 2p's worth, I had the repair job done a couple of weeks ago as mentioned by @LukeJ, and it seems to have cured my problem (although as @MartinR has said maybe it will return after a month or two).
So far from my experience it's worked a treat (not a drop of oil under the car) and has...
Same here, but I think it's more that when cold you can feel the coldness/tension through the whole drivetrain, it's grumbly and sensitive. When it's warm it feels a lot looser (not slower)
Also interested in this... unlimited data with tethering, plus free upgrade to 4G when their network goes live.
Also one thing to note, Three is the only UK operator (I think) with 3.5G activated, so their 3G speeds are comparable to EE's 4G speeds in some areas.
I've only had my ESP on in the wet and trying to provoke it (never taken it on a track so can't comment on that).
The time's that it has come on have been on an off camber sharp left turn, foot planted in second, in the wet (driving like a pleb on purpose basically).
My mate used to have one of these; 2004 car with the bigger brakes, it had an Autodelta exhaust, the multispokes (which were a rarely ticked option iirc) and it was slightly lowered but not sure what on or how much. It looked the nuts though.
Advice from him: Check the radiator. That's what...
I'm probably being dim but is that really the cause of the noise? The noise changes when I press on the plastic mounting attached to the windscreen; your fix involves something near the pedals, is it really the same thing?? Genuinely want to know if I'm being thick! :)
Ha! Need to watch this video all the way through...
Seriously though, has anyone cured this?! Anytime I take someone out in the car: "Yeah it does that sometimes, don't worry."
Never seen this mentioned on Cliosport; thought it was just mine!!! Anywhere from 80-100mph in mine depending on how windy it is.
On mine if I press hard on the plastic mounting for the rear view mirror/rain sensor it changes the pitch of the noise or makes it go completely...
Might have been me on my way to Tonbridge (down bluebell hill, through maidstone etc)... Would have been going through there at around quarter past 2.
Also is your 182 Black or Arctic Blue? If so then it was probably me as I saw a couple of sports around!
Yeah this is the thing... I'm not sure if they are as I haven't got anything to compare it to! At the very least I've heard they do it properly (no tippex!)
They did my service and a few bits and bobs like tyres and tracking etc and it was pretty reasonable, although I supplied all the parts...
Not me mate, I only get back to Ashford around 7 in the evenings.
What's the burg like? Not been that impressed by the standard vxr but the burgs look good...
Yeah pretty much apart from Goodridge Stainless hoses all round... I've gotta change the cambelt, aux belt etc in the next month though :(
What have you done to yours?
Ta mate, so did yours (spotted the HIDs and then saw it was a sport).
I'd just put a sponge over the car before I went out; what must have been an Ostrich sh*t all over it.
Sorry mate!
Just to keep things up to date, yes it was me.
