Have a look at dog specific stuff, my mates got a brilliant hammock type thing which clips onto the rear headrests, and the front ones so they can't fall or jump into the foot wells either :) also another friend has a very short lead that clicks into one of the seat belt bits and clips into...
Ah well as I'm ashford too just give me a shout if you want a hand, I can't prove I've done it before but it is very easy! Enough so that my front seats get removed when I clean the interior thoroughly lol :)
Yeah just get one of those on that link, only a fiver. After reading up a bit more about what that pipe does I could believe it might solve your issue but have to wait and see
That little pipe is defo oil breather pipe, probably best to buy a tiny little cone filter that goes on it, not expensive, can't see it solving the issue though as I didn't think you could create emission problems with the air intake.. Hmm
Which Ariel did you go for? And what's the reception like? I changed mine to a stubby one and the signal is terrible in some places! Other places it's just white noise! :/
Those badges are 100% glued :) same way you took the clio off, as for the remap, if you feel it's worth it then go for it, I just think at the end of the day it's a 1.2, spend your time and money making it look really good because even with a 5-10bhp increase it's still a 1.2, it still won't go...
I wouldn't even bother trying to get the cornering lights to work if It didn't have them from the factory. I looked into it for my mk3 and the effort and money required apparently is ridiculous for something that's not even that special :)
Looks pretty good :) I wouldn't bother with a remap in a 1.2, nothing to be gained that's really worth it, air filter and exhaust for a more sporty noise though :) look at the gt exhaust :)
Also for the love of god debadge the imusic badge off the sides, bleugh haha.
I've done led bulbs on all...
Looks as though the metal tabs on the cage have already been pushed out? At any rate you want to insert the metal cage first by itself, then pull the cables though hook it up and push it in, sometimes I struggle with the amount of wiring behind and it is a pain to make it go in.
Better off colour coding them instead, carbon wrap can look nice sometimes but be careful, also if I was going to do that I'd look at the dipping process instead, pretty cool and looks a bit nicer/glossier :)
Yeah defo, the mk4 is easy to just jump into, slip into drive and almost let it take you where you want to, easy enough to pop into RS mode and give it beans if you want, plus the considerably better mpg over the old 200, and much lower tax. And better practicality with 5 doors, no more having...
Have only test driven both so can't comment on how either of them are as daily's etc. but based on just the test drives they are very different! The mk3 is obviously much more revvy! And of course the gear box, I'd say don't write the auto and paddles off though, when I drove the mk4 I was...
Lol thanks, I had to spend a couple of days driving for our Maidstone store as they were short of drivers, had no idea where I was most of the time haha!
Would be a 200, 197's didn't come in Alien Green, it is a lovely colour, although I sometimes look at it and think its not that nice, and then other times I think it looks the tits!
All very easy. Can't help you with bulb types but just remove them and then buy one that is the same fitting. Interior light is easiest, the plastic will literally unclip with your fingernails and then just pull the bulbs out. Boot light easier with a flathead screwdriver, prise the unit out of...
UR 197 leading followed by a LY Meg, White 197/200 and a white Meg, all in convoy headed towards the coast, lovely day for it! I was stuck in the work van in the layby just as you left Brookland just after the nation speed sign.
Oh and about 20 to 30 seconds later there was an UR 200, presume he...
Opening your bonnet will give absolutely nothing away I'm afraid, it's all hidden away, the only other thing you could try is to release the two clips and two bolts on the bonnet slam panel for the bumper and lift the top part away to put your arm in and push the grill out that way, but honestly...
