I used Dk cars and bikes in Fishponds last year to refurb the wheels on my 182 cup to the standard anthracite colour. There hasn't been any degradation to the finish since so no complaints so far!
Charged about £50 a wheel i think.
Mine took a while to sell at a similar price and mileage last year. Seems you have to be patient if you want to sell these cars privately these days. Love them in red though. Good luck.
Can anybody recommend a clay? I've just about run out of Autoclay and would like to try something a little harsher as it doesn't seem to be picking up everything on my 182.
That looks great, it will be interesting to see if the backbox clashes with the beam though.
I did the same thing when I took my to Infinity Exhausts for the mounts, just handed them the Powerflex ones and let them do the rest.
They're seemingly developing two updated versions of the centre box, and it would appear they've sent out the track day spec one first without telling you all.
I've posted a response I got from the Whybee sales director this morning when I asked about the design change.
With FWD cars being driven properly the biggest hazard comes from lift-off oversteer, which is harder to predict and react to than understeer. Having your best tyres (and hence the most traction) on the rear axle means you're maximising the limits in which you have to play.
