Haha yeah if it wasn't for the cage I'd be a little worried as it is extensively lightened don't think anything has been missed if it's not needed it's gone lol
-1.4 K Series Tuned Engine Piper Cams, Piper Verniers, Reworked Head, Jenvey Throttle bodies with fibre trumpets. Full Rebuild 3 hillclimb meetings ago by Tipton Garage who are very well known for motorsport in the southwest.
-Custom Side exit exhaust which was produced for optimum length...
It could be with abit of work, currently running a modest 150bhp from the little 1.4 but with a different cam setup should see 160 and with a change of pistons ect with money spent would see 200.
Well after stripping and selling my lovely little clio I've found myself a lovely bit of purpose built hillclimb kit and yet many will say why to my choice the main reason is i want something different so I've gone for a metro yes I did say metro but no ordinary one......
I'm needing to know how to connect the tps to the old loom without the adaptor which colour cables do I use from the original loom?
This is the original loom
And this is the adaptor off the tps
Any help with this is much appreciated
I had heard something about it but not seen anything, I was looking at there stiffening kit but the rear of my car already quite stiff with the arb and the coilovers
What benifits do you get from a baffled sump?
Yeah I really want a set of cams but it's just the outlay of fitting them that puts me off and the lack of people local to me that can do it. After buying the gen90 im wiped out for a while
Tps adaptor is what you plug the tps from the bodies into the old throttle body lead as they connection's on each won't directly connected which is a pain! Apparently ktec had some one making them using old vw bosch lamba sensors but they can't source enough parts currently
No chance, bought the software so i can take it with my laptop to a local tuning guy so i can get it set up to my specification. Can't do anything until I get a tps adaptor from ktec though
Right now I'm trying to figure out how you get the throttle cable through the the cable guide when it has a small knobbly bit that connects into the plastic clip that's clips onto the throttle Peddle?
