I happened on this post while seeing if my old Clio was still about......nice to see it is! (y) I must have originally bought it over 9 years ago in Norwich; loved the thing and somewhat miss it still
I got some from ECPs like that and decided not to fit them as it seemed wrong. Ended up buying gen renault cup shocks in the end as they didn't do this
All looking cracking bud and looks like you two had a good time at FCS as well. Also glad it was only a loose bolt........know the feeling when you think it might be the worst when you hear a rattle in the engine bay!!
Anyway I used to drive an Arctic Blue 182 but made the move to an RS Megane...
Hows things going with this mate? Hopefully things have become a bit less hectic for you now!
Good job you have a good mechanic like Mick to take it to. Did he find out what caused it to snap?
Yeah, I bought a wheel spacer for it at one point to hopefully improve the position but I bought the...
Looking good mate! I work in Gapton so expecting to see this cruise past at some point. Not sure on the Elf sticker myself...I normally remove anything like that from cars, never see the point of them but each to their own.
Glad to see this is still going so gets my approval! I do sometimes miss the thing as I loved the sound and drive of it but its nice to see its in good hands!!
Does anyone know where I can source one from? Just one of them has vibrated off on mine and I can't find it so need a new one. Not sure if James is still trading etc or know where he got them from?
Yeah the pics will materialize at some point tomorrow, just need to go through them and then realise how crap my photography levels are!
Was good to see and chat to you lot today. Got to say the highlight for me was that old mans insistent rambling in that pub though!
Yeah I had a feeling it would rain today so I just sent it through the car wash Friday. Might have to go the back roads tho as the traffic was terrible around Brundall way this morning when going to the gym
Depending on time and location I have a DSLR camera that I don't mind bringing along to take snaps of cars etc. Although at this rate I don't think there will be many cars to take pictures of!
The same but on a nicer yellow colour clio? haha. Seems like ages ago now! In fact it probably is
I'm currently bobbin up and down on a vessel around Brazil but I should be back by then.....hopefully
Check the oil breather pipe round the back of the engine and make sure its not blocked with oil. Mine used to do that if that was blocked so might be worth a look
All the way through the rev range as well?
These cars are known to be a bit hesitant when cold if its on the standard map (Usually in the morning after being left for the night) so was just ruling that out since you said its all the time
Might be one of those things that a visit to one of the...
Short answer nothing and is pointless so I removed mine but I have an RS2 so its even more redundant now but its only there to reduce the induction noise below 3000rpm or something like that. Pretty much like an active exhaust valve on the inlet for some EU crap I should imagine
I don't think I did sadly :( I saw a BG with black alloys that looked rather low but that was the only BG clio I remember seeing.
I think I only did one lap and then left, like I said just felt like being in a traffic jam and didn't see anyone I knew to chat with
Yeah that wasn't me Markerboy that would have been g30rg1e. I had white OZ superturismo alloys on maybe a year ago but put the standard ones back on. Planning to respray the OZs but just haven't got round to it and now kind of feel like selling them
The V6s looked awesome as always, really...
You might need to adjust the rear bumper.
Underneath there are some clips (around where the tail pipes are) that you can undo which will then allow you to either move it in or out a little bit on which ever side needs it. That will make it look less like one pipe comes out more than the other. I...
TBH i make no effort anymore to acknowledge other Clio sport drivers as most the time you get blanked haha. See a black and silver Clio sport a lot but have no idea if they are on the forum so therefore just look at the car but not wave. Also saw a black Clio sport at Petans during Feb 18-20th...
