Car splutters badly when cold?

Hello everyone, when cold my car barely drives, Everytime I give it throttle it just seems to splutter badly and when pulling away feels like it's going to bog itself out. Some days can be worse than others but once the cars warm it runs like a dream, anyone have any ideas? It's a 1.2 16v engine

Check the oil breather pipe round the back of the engine and make sure its not blocked with oil. Mine used to do that if that was blocked so might be worth a look

It's had a oil and filter change last week, I'll check the oil tho
