not sure about the new clio looks 2 big like a megane.
Yeah - thats kind of why I like them. The Megané is nice but the back end is too severe for my tastes. Id have a new Focus instead. The Clio fits the class below nicely but isnt too...
I know it aint the same thing, but my work (only part time 1 day a week) pays the top up on my insurance premium for business use, which is a couple of hundred quid on a Volvo T5.
Alternatively if I cant be bothered to use my own car, I can use either of the two pool cars - a Mitsubishi...

the new one resembles a Yaris crossed with a new astra. not sure about it yet.
I can see where youre coming from - Im not so keen on the back end but side, front quarter and front shots look really nice.
It also looks really nice...
Was browsing in my Renault Magazine I got through the other day, and I really, really like the look of the new Clio.
Any idea on prices yet? Id probably look at either a 3-door 1.6 16V or the 106bhp Dci.
I sold my late 2003 Clio Dynamique a while ago to purchase an M-reg Volvo T5, which...
Runs the length of the car and back up behind the dashboard. There are four crossover boxes behind the dash for the door speakers and they have outputs/inputs labelled "Sub" and "Amp" which are filled with this type of wire - not sure if they run back to where the pic is taken or not - its all a...

I was looking to put in a factory amp in my car, but have since found out the car has been pre-wired for an aftermarket system, and the previous owner has left me eight nice Boston Acoustic speakers rather than the standard units.
Ive had a hunt around my car, and have found two RCA sockets...
(This is a Volvo install, but you guys probably know more about car audio than the Volvo websites!)

Ok, so I go to install my new T5-R amplifier behind the dash, and what do I find?
Absolutely tonnes of aftermarket speaker wire (clear plastic tubing with visible copper twists - much...
Pressure wash gets the crap off!
Then wash it by hand, bucket and sponge :)
Then pressure wash it afterwards.
Job done!
TBH I rarely bother with the pressure washer!
How many miles should I expect to get out of the front & rear tyres on my 1.4 16V Dynamique?
Ive covered 10,300 miles and still have loads left! Just wondering what other people have gotten out of their front/rear tyres!
Sensible driving, no or virtually no wheelspin!!
Cheers :)
I tried the 1.2 8v, 1.2 16v, 1.4 16v and 1.6 16V before I bought my car.
The 1.2 8v is VERY underpowered, almost dangerous.
The 1.2 16v is nippy, but runs out of steam quickly!
The 1.4 16v is noticeably better than the 1.2, still not *fast* though.
The 1.6 16v is not a lot difference...
Well, I wanted something that was:-
Brand new
Had Air Con or Climate control
As many toys as possible
Economical as possible
Fairly fun to drive
Looked good
I was going to get a Ford Ka (yes yes, I know the looks arent to everyones tastes, but I liked it!) and they were doing the...
Im currently putting 225bhp through the front wheels and have friends with 280-350bhp going through the front wheels also!
Wheel slippage isnt that much of a problem provided the road is dry and youre tame with the accelerator in 1st gear. Mines an auto so I just push it to 5k in 1st, it...
Hi
Does anybody fit winter tyres on their Clio for the, erm, winter?
I do a lot of driving abroad in Switzerland, Austria, Italy & Southern Germany where conditions are rather snowy :D
Im not intending to use the Clio over there this season, but will be from next season onwards. So whats...
