Interesting... My 172 cup is exactly the same as this! All shims, offsets, parts etc are okay, even geo is straight yet my drivers side rear wheel sits about 5mm further out :/
I would agree that if something could be sorted for Hearts, Beds & Bucks that would be grand!
There's plenty of guys around that area but a huge hole in the map.
I'll be quiet now... ;)
Thank you :)
Ahh okay, that's why I didn't see you! I'm generally pretty good at spotting other Clio's.
Had a look at your Trophy thread, VERY nice motor !
I'm after advice from people who have experience with rebuilding the F4R lumps please :)
I've got a PH2 172 Cup and its just ticked over 100k miles so I'm going to change cambelt etc.
I've decided to have the head off whilst I'm at it to replace the gasket and will fit a head I've...
Was just going to say that the injector 100% needs replacing. It was leaking off excessively, you can't argue with facts, its faulty. Not all faults are caused by 1 issue, they are the ones that are the exception :)
Mines really bad for it when I'm part throttle at low revs during cold start, feels like it's holding back, pops and farts on overrun too. If I give it full throttle a few times or wait a minute or so it will suddenly "clear" and be fine. Think it's just how it is :)
Curborough is one of those places that will make even a well balanced car feel understeery/oversteery and snap between the two lol. I've found tyres really come down to preference, unless they are proper cheap! but yeh, maybe scrub them in first ;)
Interesting... I've got a 2003 172 cup and its exactly the same... I was checking wishbones etc, took it for full alignment and everything is spot on!
Wonder how common this is!?!
