Ok so I got stuck in flood water and filled my engine with water but managed to take inlet off remove sparks and release the water, engine now starts and runs pretty good but with a sound that's similar to a valve bouncing but I'm no specialist, if anyone could help me out with any ideas of...

Ok since trying to sort a few things out behind the dash my cardoesnt show the amount of miles I have left or mpg etc.
It now has decided to cause my speedo to stop working intermittenty not sure if any of this is common please if anyone can shed some light on it I would be very greatfull
The gearbox works well but leaks, seams like the seal is bad on the box, is there an easy fix I.e. tighten bolts or how long and how hard is it to change the gasket seal for whole box time and cost
and should I lthink about a rebuild whilst I'm at it?

My abs ring had snapped and I had a little ding against my fence when the cars abs didn't work quite properly, no problems with the lights at this point so I removed the ring and took the fuse out from the abs for a couple of weeks untill I managed to fits new ring. Brakes work perfectly well...
