Could anyone tell me which colour wire should go to which pin on the lambda please.
The wires have come out of the plug car loom side and i need to put a new plug on.
Been busy and forgot to update this, but found my problem was my clutch cover.
The actual fingers were bent!
I got a brand new one and measured from at flat surface and found they were about 3mm shorter on the original and after installing the new cover and bleeding up it appears to release...
The only thing i can think of is that your master isn't making enough pressure or that your pipe is budging and your losing pressure between the master and slave ? (assuming its bled up correctly)
What's cracked on your box and where has it cracked?
The pipe on mine is solid till the box end...
OK changed out the clutch cover for a luk standard one (the older version) and made a quick video
I think the movement in what looked like the fly wheel was actually the gearbox moving (added more bolts to hold it on) and you can see its not moving now.
Im going to try using a different...
Pulled the engine last night, changed the clutch cover and still no change (its had a new cover, slave and friction plate now).
Tried to get some pics of the master for you Jaff but couldn't get into the foot well due to crap in the way.
Checked the crank too and 0 movement on that, it didn't...
Crank movement was next on my list to check after seeing the movement. Will try and get over tomorrow to check.
has been running for 10k since the engine was built and 1000 ish with the box when it slowly stopped releasing over about 10 miles. The pipe work and master cylinder is from a golf mk4...
I can see fly wheel movement, wonder if for some reason my fly wheel is bending and so the fingers are not going down enough...
The master cylinder seems to be fine as its pushing the slave a fair bit
I shouldn't think so George, mine was working perfectly and then it slowly went over about 10 15 miles and i couldn't get it out of gear.
Next thing for me is to change the master cylinder as i have changed everything bar that and the pipe work...
So it all works apart from the clutch.
Chris...
Primed it off the box and then put it on and bled it, gets good pedal feel and you can hear the clutch cover springs move.
Going to get a cheap USB camera from ebay and have a look inside (will update next week)
Ok so this is what happened to the last clutch
flywheel pic -its an older 02m...
Replaced the slave on mine, still the same issue with a brand new slave.
And I might have to invest in a camera to look via the starter and see how much mine moves.
Jaff Might need to build up some shims behind the slave.
If you take off the fly wheel put the clutch on it and then put it in a...
old post I know but did you ever get any where with this ?
I have had an issue with mine where even though it all looks fine the clutch doesn't seem to be disengaging.
Changing the slave tonight
Problem with mine was that it was all working, I used a spec clutch from the USA, but the clutch...

They are the census ones, had 2 right outside my work last week, they have stickers on saying so and they are normally chained to lampposts so the local youth don't get free cameras
