Looking at buying some Auto Finesse Aqua Coat - used Hydro2lite before and I assume it's similar to this? (My 1L Hydro2lite has gone all cloudy with white bits floating in it - is it still any good lol?) Do you use this kind of product (aqua coat) after applying a wax paste/spray wax? I would...
Got a 120 and the standard hose is awful - gets tangled all the time and not long enough, been looking on eBay for replacements but they all seem to be 'rubber wire reinforced' and look to be made out of the same stuff as my one. Any idea where to get a rubber/more flexible one? And I should...
Thanks for the reply - sorry for hijacking your thread Ant. Glad you mentioned that, looks to be a good bit of kit and not too expensive at £159.95. Will go for this one then - unfortunately they don't do any bundles with polishes/pads on this one! (except Sonax).
Was looking at Menzerna for...
Clay mitts/towels, what are you guys using? Anything to note re use? Have used a clay bar before and understand a mitt is a lot faster/easier to use! Seen a couple on clean your car, namely:
CarPro - Polyshave Clay Cloth
Clay Mitt - Green Mild Grade
I would definitely go for the M2. Perhaps a different price range but I prefer the looks of the M2 and also I would've thought they are more involving/fun to drive, as they are smaller. Havn't drove either so I could be completely wrong, but that's my opinion.
I think the French flags look great. I have always hated them on 1*2s, but on this one it just seems to suit it so well, it somehow looks clean against the RB paintwork!
Off-topic somewhat but I must say your videos are good. I remember when you first started making them and some mocked, but actually it seems you have built quite a following already, 2.7k subs isn't bad! Your videos have a niche in some ways and you are clearly getting better each video. Keep it...
Looks good. Did it cost you an arm and a leg? Looking to get my Impreza detailed (is in dire need of a machine polish) and am pretty local to West Brom. Seem to look good on Facebook at least!
You mean, something horrible like wonder wheels? I wouldn't want to risk damaging my wheels but may have no choice! Should've cleaned them more often since refurb.
Will have a look at the Carpo inside. Thanks.
Ron - will this stuff remove the really stubborn marks on wheels i.e. brake dust etc that has really stuck on hard. It's an Iron/Decontaminant based wheel cleaner right?
Also question for you all - best product for removing hard stains on interior plastics i.e. plastic door card/door pockets...
Nice car. Standard rear lights would look much better, the dark cherry red ones. Never understood why people changed Mk5 lights to those golf plus (?) ones. Also had those wheels (albeit replicas) on my first car, a Mk5 1.4 Golf, really are a good looking wheel!
Looks like you're having fun, shed loads of it. What sort of power would you expect before/after remap with your manifold etc? Sorry if already mentioned!
I have had work done by them before. Paid £400 for front bumper painting/repairing + fitting/painting front lip on a previous car. My dad had front bumper/wings/bonnet + blend into doors done for £700 on his Golf Edition 30 2 years ago. Their work is good to be fair.
Got a quote for some paintwork on my 2005 Impreza Sti. The work I have been quoted for is to paint the front bumper, front wings, rear bumper (not the largest of rear bumpers), bonnet, blend into doors, paint and fit front splitter + side skirt extensions (small items from HTAutos, no bad boy...
Sup.
Yeah my car makes that noise, how did you guess? 😂 Blitz Nur Spec R no less! Tempted by that Vibe one you linked (its a sub/amp in one..right? So no need to buy an amp as well down the line?). Don't fancy dicking around with getting power wires to the battery through the car...
