Hi my 2005 Clio 182 full fat has an intermittent ABS fault which triggers the service light. The fault clears upon restart but may or may not re appear but usually does eventually.
It can come on whilst idling in traffic or whilst moving, or not at all.

Bumping this thread. I replaced the fuel pump relay. Not with a new one but a used OEM one from Ebay. The car started fine. I also inspected the overall condition of the fuse box and it's really clean and dry. I cleaned everything when I took the engine out so I don't suspect corrosion.

The crank locking pin is a Sealey aftermarket item. As such I don't want to risk putting too much force into it. I will have another go with it tomorow when the horseshoe is in perhaps. My belts were last changed 10 years ago!
I managed to get the dephaser snapped free using the tool without the horseshoe bar inserted at the rear. But the exhaust pulleys is pretty tight. I imagine if I can get the horseshoe pulleys into the rear that would help stop the pulley moving.
