Some idiot open their car door into the side of mine, and now ive got a nice dent in my drivers side door. :@ Luckly its just a dent and the paintwork isnt affected, but it looks a mess after its been cleaned and shows up easily. You guys/gals got any recommendation for dent removal people...

Looks like my alternator has gone and its time for a replacement. :( Getting one from a local alternator place if they have any as Renault prices are just daft. Anyone got any tips or advise as to how easy it is to fit on a Mk 1 172, and roughly how long it would take? Cheers Andy_M

I noticed an rattle coming from the engine while driving with my window down the other day. It seems to be coming from the drivers side of the engine and sounds like something it catching somewhere, it only seems to rattle at about 1,200 RPM though. Ive had a quick look but cant seem to see...
