Time to change my pads - was at Renault y'day so thought I'd ask out of interest 355£ - don't really need to say anything else on that! So now I'm looking into ordering from else where - I can get full set of EBC Redstuff for 155£.
Has anyone used these or can anyone reccomend alternatives?

Seems to be OK now starting to think the poor changes were driver error! Did essex to crewe (200m) in it yesterday no problems. Plenty of fast 1st-2nd changes too. If it was on it's way out would the crunching happen all the time or start of every now n then slowly getting worse.?
Noticed recently that 1st to 2nd often crunches at higher revs, noticed it when pulling out off toll booth on m6 hoping this is just my unsympathetic driving style. All other gears are absolutely fine and I know 3rd to 4th can be a sign of bad things but mines spot on. Also saw that early 197s...
The springs on the cup ar 27% stiffer at the rear and 30% stiffer front; and 7 - 12mm lower overall depending on where you look! That's from EVO magazine anyway... correct me if I'm wrong!
Cheers - just had them powder coated! Was pretty grubby before as it's been in the garage for a new fuel pump :'( But gave it a good wash then meguirs ultimate compound on the paint and wheels, meguiars endurance gel on the tyres and then simonz plastic restorer on diffuser bummp strips etc! And...
Thinking of getting wind deflectors for my 197 has anyone done this and have a photo??? Also has anyone got tinted backlights - the glossy 'professional looking' ones seen a few DIY Matt black sprayed ones n they look tosh
Success! The pump has arrived and 'should' be fitted tomorrow so I can pick up tomorrow or sat. Also Renault have agreed to go 50-50 on the bill. Impressed with the dealership in general so can recommend - EVANS HALSHAW DONCASTER
My mate had the exact same problem on his Corsa Sri and that turned out to be contaminated clutch plates - brand new clutch but the guy fitting it managed to do a bad job and get oil all over meaning it slipped and juddered all the time especially when setting off. His lasted for ages it's just...
Still no response other than renault are waiting from a comment from the dealer to assess weather or not they'll be coughing up half towards. Not sure if they even have the replacment part yet and I'm fed up without it already!
Same - got a 3 month warranty from K-tec when bought which is a week or two over now :( Had a good chat with Renaulot yesterday and they have no fuel pumps they'r eon backorder so god knows how long it's going to take but its been there a week already! However I managed to get them to consider...
I'm in Crewe mate however the car is in Doncaster @ Renault. Think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just let them do it. Seems like a strange thing to have gone - it's only on 27k!
Driving home from work Friday afternoon and pulling off roundabouts at higher revs noticed big power losses - decided (stupidly) to stop and turn it off/on again as in my old car this reset 'limp mode' however once turned off wouldnt start again!
Currently awaiting diagnostics from Renault - I...
Jut figured out how this works if anyone else gets stuck - plug the wire into the back (hole next to the one for steering ctrls). Then Hold down the button next to expert until it beeps, press the CD skip track buttons (left and right on the other set of buttons) then it'll cycle through a...
