Noticed recently that 1st to 2nd often crunches at higher revs, noticed it when pulling out off toll booth on m6 hoping this is just my unsympathetic driving style. All other gears are absolutely fine and I know 3rd to 4th can be a sign of bad things but mines spot on. Also saw that early 197s had 1st 2nd issues but mines on an 09 plate so shouldn't be an issue?? Is this a common thing with them or should I be worried ?
