I used this last time, £15 off with code too and comes with bolts
What are peoples using for toolboxes. I'm fed up of everything getting chucked in a box and not being able to find anything
Something not too bulky that I can just chuck in the boot if the car
Pics and links appreciated (nothing silly expensive) 🙂
Axle stands up front on the chasis rails. I try using the rear axle mounting point for stands then or just the beam as there isn't much weight over the rear of the car anyway
I use one of those hockey puck tools on my 172 but wouldn't use it in my mk1
At the front you can jack on the chasis rail or the rear subframe bolts
To the rear I jack the car up on the rear beam where the torsion bars go through the trailing arms
Picked this up in 2015 after selling my 225 Trophy
Think it was on 110k ish and cost me £950
I still own it now on 150k 🙂
I remember looking at ph1's around the £800 mark at the time
Just checked dialogys but there's like 12 different numbers so assuming differences between LHD/PH1/PH2
I'm after the cable and the latch bit (I know which part I need for the bonnet)
For ph2 172 if anyone has recently purchased them
I'm only interested in new parts
Thanks for any help
Completed TR1 and started TR2. There's absolutely no way I completed any of these games as a kid even though I recall certain levels
Iv had to give it a break though. Will pick it up again. I hear TR3 is the hardest of the lot
I found if you bleed it with the engine running you should get all the air out OK. Had a mare after changing my rear beam until I was told to leave it running
