Hello peeps, whats your thoughts on used Willy prices at the moment?
Mines hit 79K now and I cant bring myself to increase the milage much more so Im considering selling. Id love to keep it as a second car but Im gagging to get a GTR and simply couldnt afford both.

can peeps please post up opinions, pics, prefered brands ect. on the subject of cages for a mk1 clio, im really tempted to get one next month for the willy although im having a nightmare finding info!

A mate of mine is getting a free scorpion exhaust on his BMW as theyre using it as a prototype because they dont currently have a listing for his model.

out of interest, just been looking at the prices of Williamss on Autotrader and it seems i got mine pretty cheap!
got the guy down to £2,900 about 2 months ago, its not the most amazing example, needs a littl TLC. but its got a 65k on the clock, FULL reno history with loads of receipts...
when the civic gets sold ill be freeing up some money to start chucking at the Willy and itd be nice to get some advice from people whove "been there, done that".
so whats the best way to squeeze power out of the old beast?

im going to get some new rubber for the willy and im tempted to go for a wider, flater tyre than the standard 185/55.
195/50s and 195/45s are suitable by TUV standards although im hesitant if it will upset the handling!

when firing up the lump on my willy1 the engine seems to rock and shake a lot, its drives perfect and the guages all read spot on. Im 99% sure itll be a tired bottom engine mount although its best to check with the people thatve already had the same thing! funnily enough it doesnt do it from...
