One thing to note, the guy at the garage seems to think it needs a new ECU because its broke, presumably due to the voltage error. But if it just needs resetting this a much easier, and cheaper job.

But..... I still have all those pretensioner faults etc. The wires under my seats are a mess, so I'm guessing I will need those sorting too???
Does anyone know if sorting the wires is a fairly easy job, I'v read plenty about the resistor technique, so presuming this will...

If I get a new ECU off eBay or something, can it be programmed? Also, is the ECU and airbag computer the same thing?

They sell them on eBay for relatively cheap, but am I right in thinking only Renault can programme it, and they charge a fortune.
