How much do you think I am looking at for repairing this? Is there a good chance I have probably had no airbag for 4 - 5 years?

One thing to note, the guy at the garage seems to think it needs a new ECU because its broke, presumably due to the voltage error. But if it just needs resetting this a much easier, and cheaper job.

Looks like a plan. But..... I still have all those pretensioner faults etc. The wires under my seats are a mess, so I'm guessing I will need those sorting too??? Does anyone know if sorting the wires is a fairly easy job, I'v read plenty about the resistor technique, so presuming this will...

Its a mk2 Clio. If I get a new ECU off eBay or something, can it be programmed? Also, is the ECU and airbag computer the same thing? I might end up having to write off a perfectly good car.

Is the ECU and airbag computer the same thing. They sell them on eBay for relatively cheap, but am I right in thinking only Renault can programme it, and they charge a fortune. I was hoping to sell the car for about £750 when fixed, but I am starting to worry it will end up scrap.
