Driving from Kent to Norfolk last night I came up the A14 and just before Exning there was a lorry and 4 or so Clio Sports in the lay-by. I only caught a brief glimpse around a lorry so I could be wrong but it looked like possibly 3 197s and a 200? One looked like it had taken a bit of a clump...
I had it recently with parcel force or someone, they had banned wheels and tyres despite having used them for years!
Ended up using Paisley freight which worked out cheaper.
I also used Salvatori for shipping larger items, wheels, engines, interiors and other things. Seem to be the best...
I see, I had a facelift EP3 and a facelift ST, if i was to buy again I would buy the EP3, the build quality seems far superior in every respect, inside, outside and the K20 is a fantastic engine in comparison to the 150 ST engine. I went from the EP3 to the ST and had it all of about 3 months...
I stopped in at AMD a few weeks ago to enquire about some AP coilovers. They had them listed online but when I stopped in they told me they had stopped stocking, supplying and fitting them, when I asked why they told me that the quality of the AP coilovers had dropped and their manufacturing had...
Interesting thread and something I have been mulling over for a while.
I have read a lot on here about the timing being out and it has lead me to believe that a specialist would be far more trustworthy. Wish I could do it myself, doing a normal timing belt concerns me enough.
EDIT
Out of...
At this rate a 172 to use along side my main weekend car. When that comes up for replacement either a E46 M3 (if I can ever find the right one, which I doubt) or a 996.2 GT3.
I can't help but think a friend of his told me he bent one prior to this one? I used to see it all the time along the A2.
I rarely see it, I've become somewhat of a work recluse with my current hours. Looked pretty sweet, hi spec brakes under there, I rather liked it.
Who's is this?
Parked up outside ECP on MCE before work tonight and pulled up behind this, looked pretty sweet. Sure isn't helping my trying to fight the urge to buy one.
On a side note, did you used to work at Kwik Fit on the A2?
In regards to comfy seats I will try and put a recommendation out there of the Corbeau Club Sports.
Pair with side mounts and sliders come in at £300. Come in two sizes so comfy no matter your size. Not FIA approved though which could possibly be a downer?
I did shut my eyes as he went for that one I have to say!
What weekend was you out there? I was out there the weekend of July 11th 2013 and there was a fair few bent uk plate cars. One in fact was a 172 cup along with an M3 E36 which had turned into somewhat of a banana.
I went round there...
Very interesting thread you have going here. After having a few track days, a few trips to the ring, and a couple of sessions up at Brands I am looking at taking the plunge into Clio ownership which is why I originally clicked on you thread title.
You seem to be doing exceptionally well...
Was popping out for some lunch this afternoon, around 12:30 and I was headed London bound along the M2.
I spotted a grey Evo moving at quite a rate down the outside lane so was sure to stay out of his way, he came past then I heard a very distinct rumble, looked over and spotted a V6 Flame Red...
When I went out I camped pretty much on top of the ring in a site just around the corner, it was sign posted which is the only reason I found it. Owned by a really friendly guy, was into his endurance bikes and we had a nice chat. Had good facilities there and the people on the site were...
I took an impreza out there last year, had a bit if a to-do on the track and I ended up splitting the down pipe just before the cat.
Anyway the exhaust had completely separated, despite numerous attempts to fix it the car ended up being limped home with no exhaust from the down pipe back.
I...
I haven't bought a clio yet, but I am hoping to go and look at one on Saturday, 260 mile round trip.
I bought a classic mini from bootle in Liverpool, from where I live in Kent the trip was just over 550 miles.
I drove a mate to get an impreza in Birmingham just over 120 miles each way.
My...
Long shot here.
Last year we used to have a local American classic car meet down at the historical dockyard in kent.
I remember (before I was on here) that a chap turned up in an exceptionally nice looking liquid yellow turbo 182.
I imagine if they are a user on here it would be a somewhat...
Looks like you've got this sorted! Should have a right load of fun with that combination
Those corbeau seats are a right steal at the moment, especially with runners. I've found it pretty hard to find reviews on the seats.
How do you find them?
I recognise this car so much from somewhere but I don't know where or why. I also own a mini (1967 Mk2 Cooper) and I know these exact photos from somewhere.
We're you active on any mini forums/owners clubs?
All the best with the clio.
Anyone on here?
I noticed this yesterday and today.
Racing blue 182 with the white stripes, I only noticed to roof of it and can only just see a Ktec sticker on the passengers side and a "182 inside" sticker on the passengers side.
Anyone on here?
On my way home from a bit of fishing this morning and I went home down AshTree lane.
I briefly spotted a inferno clio with some holes hole sawed into the front bumper either side of the numberplate.
The first 3 characters of the registration read "B19".
Anyone on here?
I overtook a jetta last year, that was all, super woman driving.
I am going back in July this year and definitely need insurance, did flux cover you for independent cover or was it an addition on a policy you already have?
Thanks
