Top work, nice to see it looking so clean with the door bullets on at last! If you are looking for somewhere to work on it I highly recommend SWR in Stirling, they know the car inside out and are excellent! They carried out the full suspension refresh amongst all the other servicing bits...
Looks great with the new size plate on the front and headlights cleaned up, nice to know it’s being looked after! ?
Also the sticky interior parts, they bugged the life out of me and was never sure what route to go with them, especially the inner door grabs!
Bugger, sounds like too much hassle for me to bother with then at the moment, not keen on the look of those window aerial tbh. Looks like il just have to do make do with FM for now!
Don’t know much about this sort of thing, can anyone confirm whether the standard aerial on my 182 is amplified or non-amplified? Have had a Sony headunit with DAB function fitted for ages now without ever sorting out the aerial etc to get the DAB working. I know of two ways that this can be...
Just hit 100k miles, bought on 77k 3 years ago...driven daily and only issue has been an injector failing, although have fully replaced suspension, brakes and various sensors etc for peace of mind
Should also note that I never had any problems with the fuel rail guard until after I had a polybosh dogbone mount fitted, could just be coincidence or has anyone else experienced similar?
Been having problems with my fuel rail guard coming off, twice in the last 12 months or so the metal rods have sheared off after the nuts appear to have worked loose/disappeared. When looking at the 2 holes in the guard also they do not seem to be identical, one is circular while the other is...
Does anyone run the above setup on a 182 with Eibach sportlines, looking at potentially getting a set of cup turinis and would be swapping over my existing 205/45 tires from my 182 alloys, however don't want any issues with rubbing etc. Can anyone advise? I see that cup turinis seem to be run on...
What are people doing with these to refresh them? Mine are awful, all worn and sticky, really lets the interior down. I imagine it's a common problem? Any pics with refreshed ones would be good, is anyone on the forum fixing these at the moment? Cheers!
Nice tip, I bet they will look quite scuffed and worn underneath when I take the old ones off so might do that myself...All the little touches make the difference!
I actually have a brand new throttle 'heel toe' plate that i bought on a group buy here about 2 years ago and still haven't fitted 😂 couldn't bring myself to fit it without sorting all 3 pedals at once. Off to give them a ring now
I'm sure it was yourself I spoke to about this before, after seeing it on your project? Was a while ago now anyway, remember then having trouble trying to find the part at the time without a part number, no-one at Renault seemed to think they could be bought separately from the whole assembly or...
Hi
Does anyone have a part number for the metal pedal plates on the brake and clutch pedals (182)? Sure I have read on here before that they can be purchased separately from the entire pedal?
Ta
Done my research, possibly left it on too long before rinsing off, washed the entire car first before rinsing! Will give it another bash tomorrow after decontaminating the paintwork, wash a few panels and rinse, hopefully see a better finish! Me trying to rush things before it got dark 🙈
I started off with dodo juice born to be mild before moving onto the autoglym stuff. Thought I would give auto finesse a try this time as it gets good reviews, just disappointed at the streaks in the finish but probably down to user error (if that's even possible with a shampoo Lol)
Tried out auto finesse lather tonight for the first time, very nice to use but seems to have left a streaky finish compared with what I was using before (AG bodywork shampoo), any ideas? Used too much in the wash solution?
Can someone recommend me a set of decent-priced detailing brushes to do all sorts? Shuts, badges, grilles, engine bay etc. ? Nothing too fancy but of decent quality is what I'm after
Passed at inveralmond roundabout at 6:30 last night...had a smaller sized front plate to fit the recess and white stripes, anyone's from on here? Don't see many about here at all
