Good day today at Oulton Park, pretty slippy early on but dried out well.
Lots of fun, good mix of cars, impressed with the Clio good fun, I was pretty tentative on the damp track (which is good as I got to drive home) but once it dried out towards the end of the day the car felt great and...
Thanks, they are not standard silver (I'm told) almost shiny aluminium colour :) done at Aerocoat, if its nice later will get a non clean but lowered shot then we can see if there is much different :) as it was a little high before
Cars been to Birchdown today, new belts and Dephaser, lowering springs fitted, gearbox oil changed and abs lock ring replaced, feels great on the drive back and little ride out this evening.
I bought a car with part history, (similar to you lost service book) what I've done is get a generic service book and keep a record of what has been done in there, and then a folder with as many of the bills and receipts as possible. I'd look to use a specialist and keep receipts.
I put in a pair of Hertz DCX130 2-Way Car Coaxial Speakers, nice mid range sound, no deep bass but better than what was on the shelf, I am only powering them off the headunit, I run a JVC headunit standard fronts and these in the rear it's acceptable, it sounds much better than stock with this...
Not chrome no not that shiny more polished aluminium so have a grey edge to then rather than a pure mirror finish. Really very pleased with then and work well with silver billets, exhaust badges and towing eye :)
Couple pics of wheels, now looking for lowering springs needs a little drop I think.
Replaced parcel shelf that had some speakers on that didnt sound all that with replacement head unit, local breakers had shelf and now it's in, not the most exciting modification ever but looks nicer in my...
Couple of jobs done this evening
Towing Eye
Upgraded headunit for a unit with DAB and Bluetooth for the phone and streaming music
Wheels are changed but too dark for pictures maybe tomorrow if its not raining

RB will continue to be looked after.
Picked up RB today, all good drove back 70 odd miles 40mpg which was nice, first modification done new mats and an air freshener, few little bits to do want to get the cup wheels back on as prefer them to the black wheels and get the tyres sorted.
Few pic up pictures.
Drive nicely engine...
A sticky tyre thread would probably be good or an FAQ type article, I searched on tyres there is lot of detail in here, but it does depend also what you intend using the car for so would need a couple headings
