£500 for a TV.

I currently have a LG plasma from 2008.... Which only gives 720p....

So what do I spend my £500 on now. Needs to be LED, over 42" and I'm not fussed about 3D.

I bought the 40" version of this the other week and its great - as long as you aren't bothered about having 3D or Smart functions (I've got PS3/apple tv for that), I'd really recommend it.

Smaller @ 40" but 4K for only £389!

That Samsung has got so many great reviews online; I went for this LG which is similarly highly rated when I was researching.
