Had the opportunity to buy this for 5K a month or two back. Wasnt worth it at 5K even.

Only worth 8k to a collector really. You could probably offer them 6k if you're that bothered about mileage and they'd take it.

No just means you don't have to pay any vat.

I nearly bought it back in feb for 5k too, but it had only ever had one service, and the mots had advised brakes and exhaust corrosion iirc, obviously from being stood; so imo wanted a good £1000++ recommission with belts etc
