depends on weather conditions, 6.3-7s, doubt a valver could keep up, no matter how good a driver, williams yeah not a valver,

i dont even think a williams could keep up to be honest. there a fair age now and book time is about 7.3 but i wish i had the experience of driving a willy, theres a nice one round my way...sounds sooo nice when it go past my house

at the fcs i recorded a time of 6.61 secs 0-60 on the track. not bad in my standard cup!
Ive timed it over and over again at what my 0-60 is... and keep getting it at around the 6.5 mark. (However not proper timing gear). No one seems to think this is genuine though.. as the book says around 7+... so that must be right(!).

I think this is a case of some cups are faster than others, and of course comes down to how good the driver is at standing starts. Ive had no problem at all leaving s2000s behind... but struggled with fookin rover coupes lol. Havent been beaten yet though! (however only had it for a few months... plenty of time to get beaten by faster motors)

yep and so are our cup and 172, its mental mate, even standard willys have no trouble keeping up even at silly speeds, just because it says 7.3 to 60 for a willy and a cup is 6.5, in real world its nothing at all

Wanna bet ;)

Official is 6.8 I think but I have loads of literature and reviews from the Cups release and most had it tested doing 6.5. Suprisingly few cars can touch that sort of performance, especially at anywhere near the price of the Cup.

A 182 would be technically slower wouldnt it MetallicBlack? I had always assumed the weight difference pretty much cancelled out the extra 10bhp, especially considering with the 182 the Cup version isnt actually any quicker in the real world as it hasnt shed nearly as much weight as the original Cup.

Either way they are all bloody quick!

Std 172 can get 6.6 to 7.05 with a gtech. So id imagine cups are looking at 6.3-6-8s.

6.9 and 7.1s are to 62 if im not mistaken

I agree with ukaskew, anything sub 6 seconds is fast for a road car. Im mean, how oftern do you get to test that out? (apart from a track obviously).

As long as a car has the power to get you out of trouble when and where needed do numbers and figures really matter that much? Maybe its just me.

0-60 is dependant on far too many factors to argue about anyway, such as mods, weight, driver skill, how many passengers, tyre pressures....

The list goes on!!

I got 5.8 0-60 with rsport and exhaust/decat std airbox and dodgy tires. I reckon I could knock a little more off tho

.... I dont think thats correct. Maybe im wrong, but i thought the 182 was a second or two slower to 100 from 0.
