1.2 16 valve decat

heya guys. i might book my car into prospeed next week to have a decat made up ..

ive heared problems of them running lumpy on cold start ?? what sort of problems are these ?


will any warning lights come on ?

I used to have one on my old Clio, it idled fine and no lights came on. Not sure if it was worth the hassle in the end though...

It will just be all noise I should think on a 1.2 16v..... I've just fitted a Decat to my 182 after months without one on and I'm loving the sound again and it does seem to have freed it up a little.

A few on here have a decatted 1.2 16v. I'm sure it will make it more responsive and more free revving.

I emailed ktec a few days ago and they would not a fit a decat to my 1.2 due to idle problems.

had a full cat-back on my 1.2 16v and free'd up the top end an amazing amount

feels much much more responsive over 60mph

noticed it alot more when i took it off,

however that's not a de-cat
