1.2 16V shocks question

hi, looking at some koni shocks for my car and notice i can get eather..

"Only if distance between centers of the two mounting bolts in bracket = 58 mm"
or
"Only if distance between centers of the two mounting bolts in bracket = 52 mm."

how do i find out what mine is, its a 2002 1.2 16V

You have to either jack the car up wheel off and actually check the distance between the hub bolts.

either that or turn steering on full lock and that will allow you access to check them without taking the wheel off etc...


Just make sure ur accurate!!! as its hard to tell unless u measure it properly as its only a few mm diff.
 
You'll have the 58mm shocks I'd say with 99% certainty.
You can tell the difference between the shocks though if you know what your doing 6mm (or even 4mm as there are 54mm shocks) is quite a bit.
 
At the bottom of the shock there two bolts holding the shock vertically to the hub its just the distance between these
 


Top
