i'd do that to mine if the 16v ones didnt have a habbit of braking off and ending up down at the alternator belt lol

even with 1 or 2 clips snapped it sits in place ok untill you hit the rev limiter then it gets thrown off lol

mines stayed on fine^ new covers arent that much from a scrappy anyhow, bout 15 quid. Mines currently sporting a candy red cover with flip coat

Bought them off ebay Giles, he cut and coloured them to my exact requirements :approve: I can send you the link if you wish?

And yep Kyle is correct, it is the 1.2 8v and proud of it! lol!

yeah mate, had to rub it down first to get rid of the original 'Renault' markings, then several layers of plastic primer over a couple of weeks. Then started applying layers of paint, again over a week or so... applied graphic when I was happy with the finish then applied several layers of clear laquer over the job lot :approve:

ive had 2 already mate, went to the scrappy to get another one and 2 clips snapped when i tried to take it off so decided to go without lol

pah! a clean engine bay indeed!
It was clean a few weeks ago when I first removed the cover for spraying, it inspired me to clean the bay!
