I paid £99 at my dealership the 38k one is £200. Prices depend on where you are and the amountof work the dealship gets.
Just ring round a few garages saying another garage has said a service there is £100 and would they price match .
The dealership I used was Lewis Read on the Wirral. I may have got a 10% discount though but still cheaper than what you have been quoted.
You an do the pads yoursself in about 20 minutes a side even if your as usless as me with tools pads are £20 from Halfords there the 5GTT/1.8 16V ones. Get a hayney manual for ~£15 as I did shows you how to do it (the only Haynes manual is for the last shap[e Clios but the brakes are the same)
The wipes are a couple of quid and take second to do. Im still on the original ones after 18 months though But I do spray then with deicer before using them in the cold.
You can go elswere BTW but you need to have Renault parts used and the garage has to be a VAT and MOT one and the warently is still valid. I wouldnt bother as Renault will moan at anything if services arnt done by them and its little saying for me.
ive just had mine done last week service cost me £156.88 (Norfolk).
They said my pads were 75% worn and only had 4k miles left on em also my rear wiper was split, they wanted to charge me an extra £120 to replace the pads and the wiper told them to sod off so will be doing it myself soon
Hi, I was told by a dealer that as long as the garage is VAT regd and they use genuine renault parts, you can use them. I am going to (in 500miles time for the 18000 service). I dont think the garge needs to be and MOT tester too.
