1.2 mk2 ph2 struggling to start!

guys, my sister has got a clio mk2 ph2 and its recently started, not starting.

whats happens is, the engine turns over but doesnt seem to want to fire up. she trys to start it 2-3 times everytime she want to start, but on the 4th time, she fires up. its been doing this for nearly a week now, and has nearly been late to work a couple of times.

shes only had the car 5 weeks, and she really want to get it sorted!

any help would be appreciated.

P.S. the cars booked in at the garage she bought the car from, but all we want to know is what is the possible culprits for this type of problem e.g. any common faults (coilpack, spark plugs etc etc)

1 little solution... When ignition is on wait for all lights to go off. Ive had that Happen before so i jus wait for lights and the noise to stop, then start engine if not then i dont have a clue lol.

Spark plugs are a good shout.

Is it always the fourth time?

If not, then it could be the TDC sensor.

we went to the garage she bought car from, and found it to be the crank sensor.

she got it changed on the warrenty, so its all fixed, cheers..
