1.2 mk2 - price on timing belt?

does anyone know the average price of a timing belt change on a 1.2 8v mk2 clio? (2001) been quoted £140 today. seems a little steep to me.

Considering it costs around 450 for a 2.0 to be done i wouldn't be moaning.

Just FYI I payed 120 from a local garage to have my belts done on my old dynamique. It sounds about right fella

crikey seems if anything costs more than 15 pence lately its expensive, good price that IMO as long as its a full timing belt kit but get them to check the waterpump and change the accessory belt.

thats cheap as chips, i charge £100 labour for a 1.2 cambelt

That is cheap, I paid £249 all inc for mine; full cambelt kit, aux belts water pump, though I'm happy knowing the work was carried out by someone who really does know what theyre doing and to a high standard (Fred)
