1 sub or 2

Easy all,

Was given 2 Rockford RFP4212 subs (400w rms) as early Xmas pressie.

Thing is, dunno if i should keep and run both of them. 800W rms is clearly too much is it not? My old sub was 400rms and i got complaints from the missus for being too loud when it was only 40% powered!!

I currently have a Rockford 301M amp (300 RMS) and would need another amp if to run the other sub or a very big amp to run both.

Advice please guys! Should i just sell one of the bitches??

id go for 1 personally....... 2 takes up a lot of space and you wont notice a lot of difference but does look better with 2 pumpin P

Just 1 for me as bass is non-directional and the only difference you will get is loudness and your missus has already made that choice for you.
