Isn't the 1.3 used in them a better engine than the gti engine though?

That car would be a 1.6 8v, with 103bhp (stock) Not a 1.3

The series 1 Rallye's were 1.3 8valve, putting out 100bhp - as they weigh about as much as an empty crisp packet they they are nippy little cars.

WHY DO THIS!!
rallye's are gorgeous and nippy as they are, they have gorgeous arches on them so those hideous things are ruining a perfectly structured car!
