15" or 16" for fast road/track???

what you guys running for track. I'd like to go for 15's for obvious cheaper tyres and cheaper wheels. Did the cup racers use 15?

anyone notice much different running 15's after going from 16's?

I used to run 16" 182 wheels, then switched to 15" oz f1, handing was much better, plus they were alot lighter.

cool sounds promising, any problems with tyre wear switching from 16-15

I went from 182 cup wheels to lightweight 15' ones.
Saved 24kgs overall including tyres, handling was a bit more improved, more responsive.

Plus going to 195/50/15's gives a bigger sidewall, so a bit comfier on the roads.

Well acceleration was quicker on the 15's, so wheel spins became the norm for a bit, wear is no different really but tyres are generally cheaper so all's good.
