16v springs

Ive been offerd some springs from a 16v 1.8,

Would they be better than mine currently on my 1. rt? (mk1 phase 2)

should lower it. dunno if the spring rates will be matched 2 dampers tho?

Different Struts.

They wont fit. (Unless you take the complete strut, fit different top mounts, wishbones, etc.. )
