16v





just ordered a 16v gearbox mount,how hard is this to fit?just changed the top engine mount,the gearstick still moves about 3 miles,do u think this will cure it?:(
 


the dogbone will sort any lateral movement....

dead easy, 2 bolts.....

but it is a bit fiddly as all jobs are on rens.

go for it..

You will have to remove the tie bar as well as the dog bone mount. I would put the car on stands and then use the jack to raise up to the underside of the sump cause when you undo the dog bone your engine and gearbox will want to swing forward. Not that it will do any damage but just to give it that little bit of extra support.
