17 inch OZ superturismo won't fit?

I have some 17 inch oz superturismo wheels (205/40/17) which i bought off ebay, i got the tyres and balacing done today and went to put them on myself and couldn't get them on. The centre hole in the middle of the wheel is too small to fit on the hub. If it was too big then i could get a spigot ring but what can you do if it is too small?

get it bored out proffessionally... or do the right thing and send them back and say to the bloke who sold them to you he was lying and you want your money back... etc etc..

yea well i bought them off ebay, not sure how easy it will be to take back. It seems like they are only about 1mm or 2mm too small so maybe boring out will be an option. Do the wheels come with different sized holes in the middle then? cos i thought that the would just slot on easily

Has anyone had their wheels bored out? And why is it that some people on here have superturismo wheels on their clios? did they not have the same problem?

diffrent fitment for diffrent cars.

a clio's center bore is 60.1 and 4x100

Sounds to me like you've bought vauxhall fitment not clio

Are they defo 4 x 100 as you can't really tell if you can't mount the wheel

What are the numbers printed on the inside of the rim?

IIRC Vauxhall are 4x100 just have a diffrent bore size?

Vauxhall fitment = 57.1 Bore size, 4x100PCD.

Clio Fitment = 60.1 Bore size, 4x100PCD.


Are you positive there are no spigots in there anywhere?

I am postivie OZ didn't produce aftermarket alloys in 57.1 bore size.

By the way, your car should feel slower because of the weight of 17". Can you feel it ?
I could feel it when I change from winter tyres (14") to summer tyres (15").
