172 body kit

Will a 172 body kit fit on my 1.6 16v dynamique ? I want to make it look sportier but without making it too stealable !! btw im not tryin to make it look like a 172 !! just sportier !! HELP please

I couldnt justify spending all that money on a 1.2 but fairplay all the same..

The wheels dont quite work, huge space in the front arch and they dont come out enough..wouldnt say no though

Id expect most bodyshops can put on a 172 kit with a bit of fiddling cliosportcraig, what have you got in mind?

i think the whole body kit is a 1000 from renault ! but id need the front wings changed aswell and the kit sprayed along with the wings but hey will look good !

To be honest you could do a cheapo job..forget the rear bumper and just do the front bumper and wings then colour code your spoiler (same as 172) and the rear bumper inserts.

if i did that id have to get the skirts aswell ! maybe from a scrap yard ?? think the wings will be hard to get as this is what most people smash up on their cars oh well will keep everyone posted on the progress.

If u put a 172 kit on your car then it will look like a 172 but theres nothing wrong with that. C pretenders 1.2 16v on thread 172 project finally complete. All the panels r a straight forward fit.

Oh seems the green eyed monster has come out in Rob!! 172 looks with 1.2 Fuel economy, Road Tax and Insurance group 3 compared with 16, thats how you justify it boy!! Lets get some picks of your car up here shall we?

Hey pretender how much am i lookin at for the whole transformation if i go RENAULT ?? BTW I have a 1.6 not a 1.2 so with a NOS install it wont be too slow ! hrhr ! Hey Fred I think I kinda know you ! Without discount and plus Vat I should think your looking at about £900-£1000 for the parts, then your spraying on top of that.

Cheers mate ! that sounds about OK but I might have a look at Just Renaults they seem to be really good for parts and maybe I can swindle a discount ?? How about it ClioSport get us a JUSTRENAULTS discount sorted out ?? Hopefully theyll be cheaper than actual Renault !!!

If anyone uses just renaults or know what its like let me know !!
