172 Foglight

Bought a foglight off of ebay for my 2002 172. Put it in, and it does not match the origional. This lens is clear and looks completly different when the light is both on and off. Any ideas?

Phase 1s I think are clear, at least that's what I think mine are like (2000 172), must be that phase 2s are diff.
