172 Front Suspension Legs

Garage has said I may need a new pair of front suspension legs

Not seen these mentioned too often on the forum

Any idea of what they cost?

Car is a PH1 172

they're probably talking about the shocks/struts. don't know how much they are from renault (probably c.£50 + VAT) but www.auto-nation.com have them for £48 each. delivery is around £8 but as a club member you get 5% discount, discount code is in the trader section.

So would upgrading to coilovers also solve this problem? Or is it different

Been thinking about coilies for a while and this might be the excuse i need

Yes its a good excuse for coilovers, if you were thinking of coilovers then you might as well get them instead of you buying new shock absorbers.

If you dont like the coilovers then you can allways sell them on here and buy the standard shocks again
