My lights have done the usual clio thing and discoloured badly. What is the best restoration kit to buy for both results and price?

I have done them before a few times myself just never found a kit that I like tbh. Where are you boys based?

Can't think of a kit but would just suggest paying for good quality sand paper
If you can do them yourself, i have a little GTechniq C1/ C5 left that can be used to protect them properly.

Never heard of that mate. I'm presuming that's a kind of clear coat for them?

Its a glass coating that should resist for a couple of years at least before any weathering or degrading will start again.

Ive just had good results using the Meguires Head Light Renovation kit from Halfrauds... Just don't use a cordless drill

You did it all by hand then? I have used the same kit before and used the drill. Was a pretty good job tbh just looking at what kits people recommend really

Did both mine last weekend by hand.
1 small sheet of 2000 grit wet and dry, followed by 2500 & 3000 grit - £1ea
Whatever polish youve got on your garage shelf - it will get the 3000grit sanding marks out, no massive need for a polisher (though I've got two, but didnt use either)
Sealant
Rain X or Glass Sealant
I did mine last weekend with the wet&dry, followed by Megs ScratchX and Carlack68 glass sealant

Just done mine with the meg's kit, was pretty impressed with the results!

I just had mine done with a rotary polisher. They look so much better.
