It literally spins it's bag off, and seriously dangerous in the wet if your not careful! But I would advise not full throttle until you get used to the car!

Mine had 206bhp with the ITBS and I never had this issue. Stupid seller

ITB setup would probably cost £1.5k fitted and setup (£2k+ with aftermarket ECU easy). Plus it's low mileage. Without belts if it's in decent condition I'd say £2.5k was a fair price to be honest.

At the end of the day the belt and dephaser is £500 fitted. I'd always factor in getting it done by someone you trust regardless anyway when buying a clio if you're intending on keeping it for a couple years or more.

I'd personally rather the mods be built on an engine that had been well serviced surely spending £1500 on an engine that's not had the belts done is just stupid ?

No worries mate, I had a choice of buying a high millage clio with good service history, or a low milage car with none, I picked the low millage car. The car had been garaged for some time, clearly been looked after so I bought it to do the conversion. It will come with 12 months mot regardless of the work or cost involved. I bought it as a track car but unfortunately it's been sold to fund a workshop. Not much more I could tell you mate, only bought it to fit bodies and race

Maybe i wouldnt go bk for a boosted clio over n/a again tho. Loving my 182 yeh it feels slow but its sooo much less work to drive. Ive also been tempted to just sell all my clio stuff n go jap lol

can be mapped on standard ecu easy enough, lot easier with phase 1 as it's on cable not fbw.
