172 Mats

  '18 Megane dci

I got some nice black mats in mine, anchored to the main carpets, the rear one is an all-in-one mat that goes over the raised centre section. My luggage net was in a pack in the glovebox.

I got as set of Renault mats for my Ragnotti and also bought a set of Renault Rubber mats for the winter months. The rubber mats are in the car now and they really do keep the muck off the floor! Only problem is that the rear mat is a 3 piece affair and the kids keep disconnecting the middle bit...

Both sets together set me back about €54.

my drivers mat is shot at 17k - big worn patch in the middle where my clodding great feet go. not the best quality.

The brochure says they come with mats. Just make sure the dealer doesnt half inch them!!

Mine came with mats already in and the boot net in the glove box.

The mats are pretty good so far. 12k and no wear yet, just a little where my heal goes for the clutch pedal.

bought some on the day the Cup arrived. Got the Clio branded Reno ones. After two weeks they were almost worn through, now i am almost at the carpet.

Will buy a better drivers side one, but the others are OK. Just didnt want mats that weighed a ton.

  Cup 172

Whether my CUP comes with them or not, Ill probably just buy some Cannon Profile mats from Halfords like I had in my other car. They appear to be reasonably priced (£30-40) and fairly heavy duty.

I just got one of those Ripspeed alluminium foot plates from Halfords and put it just under the pedals, adjusted it by bending it slightly to fit the contours of the footwell, its got velcro on the underside so stays firmly in place. Bobs your uncle. No heavy mats to weigh the car down!!! Lasts a bloody long time too!

yes i know. just because they say max power it doesnt mean to say that the actual mats arent bad and its only on the drivers side anyway. Just got them cos they looked hard wearing and had the metal plate and were cheap not because they were max power I had paid a rather large deposite on my car at the time and couldnt afford £112 mats.
