172 mk1 decat

Will I have any problems by decatting my standard mk1 172?

You should be ok as long as yours has only one lamda sensor, if it has two (one before and one after the cat) then Im not sure anyone has come out with a decat pipe for us yet.

If you have a 2 lamda cat, you could have a look into getting a less dense, and therefore freer-flowing cat as an alternative.
