172 mk2 offset

Does anyone know what the offsets are on valvers, mk1 & mk2 172s? & weather there compatable, as ive been looking at buying some second hand alloys for my 172mk2 and dont have a clue about this???????

..standard for 172 mk2 is ET48.5, factors to consider are how much its lowered by(if any) and alloy/tyre size in choosing the correct offset.

So can anyone confirm if 17s form a valver with 205/40/17s will fit on a mk2 172?
