172 mk2 plastic seat moulding removal

ANyone know how easy it is and what is involved to take this piece off at fix it? It squeaks like crazy and am hoping to get it off to have a gander at it, but not sure how easy it

at the back (low down on floor) at a 45 degree angle is a small torx screw

Its fidly to undo, but once youve got that out.
You need to fold it gently u will see its clipped on, carefull u dont break it tho!!!

Takes a good hand to get it off withou damage, or it snaps.

ah excellente, whats the best weapon of choice for getting the torx screw out? Looks like it could be easy to break which is why ill need to be super careful.

Have you taken it off before? When folding it I take it its is clipped in the middle?

iv got the wrong set of screws to take it off, but once i get the torque set ill be fine

Im sure it was about a t20 torx bit but yeah both Has and Vinny are right

cant remember the exact t bit but it's prob the smallest in the car lol
